Fanatec’s Podium Pedals Sport target a late-September launch

Fanatec’s Podium Pedals Sport are listed for shipping at the end of September, offering the Podium throttle and brake with GT-style aluminium faces. The two-pedal package is priced at US$599.99, €599.95 or CA$869.99 on the regional listings checked September 13. [1]

Sport changes the package and pedal faces

The Sport set sits below the US$699.99 Formula configuration, which uses carbon-fibre pedal plates and heel cups. A separate three-pedal GT package is listed for autumn 2026. The optional mounting plate is sold separately, so it needs to be considered when comparing the complete installation cost. [1]

Brake force and travel have separate adjustments

The brake uses forged aluminium arms, a load cell rated above 200 kg and calibration for 150 kg at the pedal plate. Those two force figures describe different points in the mechanism; the sensor rating is not the force specification at the driver’s foot. Fanatec lists tool-free travel and resistance adjustment, an elastomer compression-control system and included linear springs for a softer configuration. [1]

The throttle uses a factory-calibrated Hall sensor, with independently adjustable travel and preload and ball-bearing pivots. [1]

Software curves change the response, not the hardware

Fanatec’s pedal-curve documentation explains a further adjustment layer: changing the relationship between physical input and the signal sent to the simulator. A curve can make part of the input range more or less sensitive without requiring the mechanical resistance to follow the same shape. The compression-control system separately changes the brake’s physical resistance profile. [3]

This gives two distinct tuning jobs: setting how the pedal moves underfoot, then setting how that movement or force translates into the game. Conflating them can make a specification sheet harder to understand; an adjustable software curve alone does not describe the brake’s mechanical feel.

Console use depends on the connected system

The Podium documentation lists internal memory for curves and dead zones, allowing settings made in the Fanatec app to remain on the pedals. Fanatec’s support guidance says console use requires connection through a suitably compatible Fanatec wheelbase. The late-September shipping window remains the current Sport listing; regional stock and the total at checkout can differ. [2] [1]
