RENNSPORT includes Kings of the Ring in Deluxe Edition
The September target remains provisional, while eligible early supporters receive account credit.

RENNSPORT has confirmed that Kings of the Ring will be included for existing and new Deluxe Edition owners. The September 9 update maintains a September target for the expansion, bringing the Nürburgring Nordschleife and three cars alongside changes to force feedback and AI. A specific release day is still to follow. [1]
Deluxe content and account credits
Eligible pre-order customers are due 1,000 RENN$, with compensation also described for Xbox users affected by account-connection problems. These benefits depend on purchase history and the eligibility conditions in the announcement. Complete patch notes are planned for the day before deployment. [1]
AI and wheel response are central to the update
The earlier Community Debrief identifies erratic AI driving as a priority: sudden braking, unexplained stops and poor awareness of nearby cars. The developer is aiming to establish a more reliable baseline with Kings of the Ring, while continuing to tune AI afterward. [2]
The same debrief acknowledges inconsistent force feedback on some wheels and specifically describes work on overly soft Logitech response. It also discusses improvements to low-light visibility and headlight coverage. Those details explain why this release matters beyond its headline circuit: it is intended to address parts of the everyday driving experience. [2]
Core reliability takes priority over mod support
RENNSPORT says it has redirected development effort toward the base game after community feedback. Console stability, hardware support, AI and the player’s progression through the game take priority over demonstrating its initial mod-support system. The debrief also says larger custom-contest fields are not planned for the rest of the year. [2]
For existing players, the useful distinction is between improvements tied to the next patch and longer-term requests. The debrief describes ongoing work rather than placing every requested feature into Kings of the Ring.
Another expansion is planned before Frankfurt
The September announcement also targets a further expansion shortly before the mid-October SimRacing Expo, where RENNSPORT plans twelve simulator rigs. That puts two content milestones on its autumn schedule, with the September release still awaiting its final deployment date. [1]
