Le Mans Ultimate’s next update is mostly fixes, with a paid US track pack beside it

Road Atlanta and the Streets of Long Beach arrive with V1.4.2 at $19.99, alongside more than 90 new 2026 season liveries.

Studio 397 announced on September 17 that Le Mans Ultimate’s V1.4.2 update will arrive alongside a second paid US track pack, containing Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and the Streets of Long Beach, priced at $19.99 with a limited-time 10 per cent launch discount. [1]

Two tracks, one of them a first for the game

US Track Pack 2 follows the first pack in the same series. Long Beach is the more notable inclusion: the developer bills it as the first true street course in Le Mans Ultimate, which makes it a different proposition from the permanent circuits the game has shipped so far. Road Atlanta lands in time for the real Petit Le Mans. [1]

The update itself is a fix release

Studio 397 is unusually direct about what V1.4.2 is not. The announcement says that “not only are we bringing new content, but these will primarily be fixes not features, and lots of them,” and points anyone waiting on new functionality towards V1.5. [1]

The specific fix list has not been published, so there is no way yet to tell which long-standing complaints are addressed. That matters more than usual here, because the update also carries the continuing network work: the studio says it has already made changes to the network protocol, reversing some of the initial rollout changes as it refines RUDP. That is the same thread as the phantom-collision and netcode testing the studio described earlier this month, not a separate fix. [1]

More than 90 liveries for the 2026 season

The update brings over 90 new liveries covering the 2026 Le Mans and ELMS seasons, including the LMP2 and LMGT3 fields with their 24-hour specials, and fresh liveries across all three ELMS classes. [1]

The announcement presents these as season content rather than pack content, but it does not state explicitly whether every livery reaches players who skip the DLC. Worth confirming at release if that is the deciding factor for you.

When it lands

The official announcement does not print a calendar date. It says only that the content arrives just in time for the real Petit Le Mans week, with a ten-hour special event running in game the following week. Coverage since has reported September 22, which is consistent with that framing but is not a date Studio 397 has published itself. [1] [2]

What V1.5 is carrying

Studio 397 used the same announcement to sketch the next update: the final two US tracks as a third pack, the new RaceControl.gg platform, and work on the single-player experience. An early preview of RaceControl.gg was shown, with race schedules and registration handled on the website rather than through the game. No date was given for any of it. [1]
