I’m Mike, and welcome to my Den! Since my father gifted me my first toy car, my love for automobiles and motorsports has grown stronger. This ultimately led me to discover sim racing and build my setup. I started my YouTube channel in August of 2022 to learn some new skills and share my experiences and insights on YouTube with the community.

Hardware Reviews

At The SimRacing Den, I adopt a two-pronged method for hardware reviews. On the one hand, I review items that I have personally acquired. On the other hand, companies occasionally send me hardware without any cost, which I reveal upfront in the review video. Rest assured, my reviews are unbiased, and I do not accept financial compensation from companies for review videos.

I also reserve the right to decline reviewing products that fail to meet my standards, don’t fit with the channel’s goals or subject matter, exhibit faults, or are not yet ready for evaluation. I typically dedicate several weeks to using the products to ensure a complete and comprehensive, accuassessment. During this period, the item undergoes rigorous examination on my main setup or test rig. It's important to note that my time is sometimes limited with products, so not all issues or faults may present themselves during the review process.

Affiliate Programs

I sometimes participate in affiliate programs, which may grant me commissions or referral fees if you purchase using certain links. These links are entirely voluntary, and their purpose is to offer financial support to my channel while sometimes offering you a discount.

Content Ownership

As the creator of all video content, I maintain complete ownership of it. Any re-uploading without my explicit consent is strictly prohibited. However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. Sharing individual snippets of my videos is permissible as long as it is done within the appropriate context and accompanied by a link to the original video. This way, viewers can access the complete content while benefiting from the shared snippet. Please feel free to share links to my content without asking for permission in advance. Sharing the link allows others to access and enjoy the video without issues. If you want to use quotes from my videos, please obtain explicit consent before doing so. This helps to prevent any confusion or misunderstandings that could arise without the necessary clarity. I appreciate your respect for these content ownership guidelines and for understanding the importance of acquiring explicit consent before quoting.

Overall, my objective as a reviewer is to contribute to enhancing products while offering consumers accurate and helpful information before making purchasing decisions.
